01Who we are
SyncAim is run by HYPERCORE GAMING LTD, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 15504918), registered office 6 Godsey Crescent, Market Deeping, Peterborough, England, PE6 8HX.
We are the data controller for the personal information you give SyncAim. That means we decide how it's used and we're responsible for protecting it. We're registered with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), registration number [ICO REGISTRATION NUMBER].
02What we collect
We only collect what SyncAim needs to work. We don't ask for your date of birth, location, contacts or anything from your games directly.
| Type | What it includes | Where it comes from |
|---|---|---|

| Consent record | That you confirmed you're 16 or older, and the date you consented to us storing cycle data. | You, at sign-up. |
| Cycle data Health data | Period start dates, and your cycle and period length settings. | You. |
| Play sessions May reveal health | Your aim, gamesense and mood ratings, match stats you enter (such as K/D, ADR or placement), maps or heroes, aim check results, sleep hours and notes. | You. |

You need to give an email address and password (or use Google or Discord) to create an account, and at least one period start date for SyncAim to work. Everything else, like match stats, notes and sleep, is optional.
03Why we use it and our lawful basis
Data protection law says we need a lawful reason for each way we use your information. For health data we also need an extra condition. Here's ours:
| What we do | Data used | Lawful basis |
|---|---|---|
| Create and run your account, sign you in, send confirmation and password reset emails | Account | Contract: we need it to provide the service you signed up for. |
| Store your cycle data and sessions, and show you your insights, forecasts and calendar | Cycle data, play sessions, settings | Explicit consent, which you give at sign-up (UK GDPR Articles 6(1)(a) and 9(2)(a)). |
| Answer support requests and complaints | Account, messages | Legitimate interests: helping you and improving SyncAim. |
| Keep SyncAim secure, stop abuse and fix faults | Technical data | Legitimate interests: protecting you, other players and the service. |
| Keep records the law requires, and respond to lawful requests | Whatever the request covers | Legal obligation. |
We will never use your data for advertising, sell it, share it with data brokers, or use it to train artificial intelligence models.
04How SyncAim's insights work
SyncAim gives each session a score from your own ratings and aim check, groups your scores by cycle day, and shows you the patterns. Your phases are estimated from the dates you enter. This all happens automatically, but it only produces information for you. It never makes decisions about you that have legal or similarly significant effects, and nobody else sees the results.
06International transfers
Your SyncAim data is stored in the UK. Some of our providers are based in the United States and may access data from there, for example to provide support or run their own systems. When that happens, we make sure it's protected by UK-approved safeguards: the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or Addendum, or the UK–US data bridge where the provider is certified. You can ask us for a copy of the safeguards we use. [CONFIRM AGAINST EACH PROVIDER'S DATA PROCESSING AGREEMENT]
07How long we keep it
| Data | How long |
|---|---|
| Account, cycle data, sessions and settings | Until you delete them or your account. Deletion from our live database happens straight away. |
| Backups | Overwritten within [7] days of deletion. |
| Security and server logs | Up to [30] days. |
| Support messages and complaints | [12 months] after we close the conversation. |
If your account is inactive for [2 years], we'll email you. If you don't reply within 30 days, we'll delete it.
08Storage on your device
SyncAim doesn't use advertising or analytics cookies, so there's no cookie banner. We only store a few things in your browser that the app needs to work:
- Your sign-in session, so you stay logged in.
- An unsaved session you're typing, so you don't lose it if you switch tabs.
- The last page you had open.
These are strictly necessary, so the law doesn't require us to ask first. Signing out removes your session. You can clear the rest in your browser settings.
09How we protect it
- Everything is encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and at rest.
- Every record is locked to your account by database rules, so other players can't read it, even by accident.
- Passwords are stored only as secure hashes. We can't see them.
- Only people who need access to run SyncAim have it, and they're bound by confidentiality.
No system is perfectly secure. If a breach puts your rights at risk, we'll report it to the ICO within 72 hours and tell you without undue delay.
10Your rights
You have these rights over your data. Most you can use yourself in SyncAim, straight away. For anything else, use our contact form and choose “Privacy or data request”. It's free, and we'll reply within one month.
11Complaints
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, please tell us first using our contact form and choose “Complaint”. We'll acknowledge your complaint within 30 days, keep you updated, and tell you the outcome.
You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at any time:
12Age
SyncAim is for people aged 16 and over. If we learn that someone under 16 has created an account, we'll delete it and its data.
13Not medical advice
SyncAim shows patterns in the information you enter. It is not a medical device, a contraceptive or a way to diagnose anything, and its phase estimates are approximate. Please talk to a doctor about any health concerns.
14Changes to this policy
If we change this policy in a way that affects you, we'll tell you in the app and by email before the change takes effect. The date at the top shows when it was last updated.
